Consultancy
When do I need consultancy?
Asking for independent help can sometimes be perceived as relinquishing the control and direction
of your project. However, the ability to recognise that not everyone can be an expert in every field
and knowing when to consult with industry experts for the areas of your business where there may be
knowledge gaps, has always proven to be a beneficial decision and wise investment of your money.
I am unsure if my development team is taking the correct approach?
We have over 10 years experience in developing bespoke applications within team environments.
Over the years we have homed our skills utilising Microsoft Best Guides and Practises. This gives
us an insight into how development should progress whilst not losing focus on the end product.
Armed with this knowledge we can look at your organisations development approach and come up with plans
to integrate your team with Microsoft's Best Practices.
These include:- Source control, Enterprise Library Blocks, Codesmith code generation, NetTiers, Testing
fixtures, Automatic builds etc.
Do my developers need training?
We have identified the need to train developers with missing skills. We have found that
the pressure to finish projects over and over again sometimes leads development down a set road and
therefore not allowing the developer to learn new skillsets. We also believe that organisations need
to communicate with other developers outside of their own organisation to avoid code stagnation.
